Turkey Rice Soup  Recipe

A delicious way to use up leftover Thanksgiving turkey, this turkey wild rice soup is comfort food central & done in under 45 mins!

INGREDIENTS

In a Dutch oven melt butter & sauté the onion, celery, and carrots until soft. Add garlic & cook.

Whisk in the flour. It should become pasty. Season it with Italian seasoning, salt & pepper.

Add the wild rice, turkey, & chicken stock & bring it to a simmer.

Simmer for 15-20 mins until the rice is tender.

Remove the soup from the heat, stir in half & half. Ladle soup into serving bowls. Serve garnished with fresh herbs!
