Authentic ANZAC  Biscuits Recipe

These Authentic ANZAC Biscuits are fabulous! Buttery, chewy, oatmeal coconut biscuits that have a rich history. A delicious treat still popular today!

INGREDIENTS

DRY INGREDIENTS

In a large bowl, combine the oats, coconut, flour, and sugar.

PREPARE BUTTER MIXTURE

Dissolve baking soda in water then add to melted butter mixture.

COMBINE with DRY INGREDIENTS

Pour the butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix together.

SHAPE THE COOKIES

Use a cookie scoop to portion out cookies & roll into balls, placing on the baking sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass or fork.

bAKE

Bake for 12-15 mins, cooking one sheet at a time. Cookies are done when the edges are brown.

COOL AND SERVE

Allow to cool on the baking sheet, before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.  Then dig in!
