Homemade Hamburger  Bun Recipe

Homemade Hamburger Buns – these soft rolls are so easy to make, taste amazing & go perfectly with burgers! Make these ahead for burger night!

INGREDIENTS

form the dough

Combine the dough ingredients in a stand mixer. Mix with the paddle until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic. Allow it to rise as directed.

divide into 8 pieces

Punch down and dump out onto a floured work surface. Divide the dough into 8 pieces.

LET IT RISE

Place on a greased baking sheet, and set somewhere warm until puffy & doubled in size (about 30-45 mins).

BRUSH WITH BUTTER

In a small bowl, melt the butter. Brush the buns with melted butter & sprinkle with sesame seeds.

bake and then serve

Preheat the oven as directed, and bake for 12-15 mins. Remove from oven & allow to cool before slicing.

KYLEE'S NOTES

I use bread flour in this recipe. All-purpose flour can be used. When using the bread machine, put the sugar & yeast on one side & the salt on the other (we need sugar to feed the yeast).
