Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya (with Shrimp)

Bring some Southern comfort into your kitchen with a big ‘ol bowl of chicken and sausage jambalaya!👉

INGREDIENTS

In a bowl mix together the Cajun seasoning, onion powder & the cayenne.

Add the chicken, sausage, & shrimp, tossing until they are well coated with the seasoning mix.

In a skillet add olive oil. Add the seasoned chicken & sausage. Cook until browned.

Add the vegetables & cook for 5 mins. Add garlic & cook for 1-2 mins.

Pour in the chicken stock, canned diced tomatoes, & tomato sauce. Stir well.

Add the quick-cooking rice & nestle the bay leaves into the mixture.

Bring to a boil & simmer. After 5 mins, add in the shrimp &  Worcestershire sauce.

Cover again & simmer for an additional 5 mins, or until the rice is fully cooked & the shrimp are pink & opaque.

Remove the skillet from heat. Discard the bay leaves. Taste & adjust seasonings if necessary.

Spoon the jambalaya onto plates or into bowls. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot & enjoy!
