Combine 112 ounces pork & beans, 8-12 slices bacon, ½ cup onion, ½ cup green bell pepper, 1 cup brown sugar, ½ cup BBQ sauce, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 ½ cups Dr. Pepper soda in a large bowl. Mix well and pour into an ovenproof skillet or 9x13 baking dish.
Bake
Bake for up to 2 hours, adjusting the time based on your bean texture preference (see notes).
