A warm and cozy tea latte made with Earl Grey, steamed milk, and vanilla. It is soothing, simple, and perfect for mornings, afternoons, or anytime you want something comforting without grabbing your keys and driving to a coffee shop.
Brew the tea: Steep 2 Earl Grey tea bags in ½ cup boiling water for about 3 to 5 minutes, until strong and fragrant.
Warm the milk: Heat 1 cup milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. You can also use the microwave. Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons honey, then froth the milk using a frother.
Combine: Pour the warm milk into the tea. Spoon any extra foam on top.
Serve: Sip and enjoy while warm.
Notes
You can use vanilla syrup (affiliate link) instead of honey and vanilla.
Steep the tea strong so the milk does not dilute the flavor too much.
Heat the milk gently to avoid scalding.
Froth the milk after heating for the best texture.
Sweeten the tea before adding milk so the sugar dissolves fully.
Serve immediately for the best flavor and temperature.
