Ingredients

pound
lean ground beef
½
cup
tomato sauce
¼
cup
water
2.5
tablespoons
taco seasoning
60
Tortilla chips
scoops, such as Tostitos
½
cup
cheddar cheese
shredded
½
cup
sour cream
½
cup
lettuce
shredded
1
cup
tomatoes
diced
Instructions
Make the ground beef filling
In a skillet, brown
1 pound lean ground beef
drain the fat.
Add
½ cup tomato sauce
,
½ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup water
and
2.5 tablespoons taco seasoning
, continue cooking until fully cooked, and thickened.
Assemble
Lay
60 Tortilla chips
out on a serving platter.
Add the ground beef mixture to each cup.
Top with
½ cup cheddar cheese
,
½ cup sour cream
,
½ cup lettuce
and
1 cup tomatoes
.
Serve
Serve immediately.
Notes
Use a piping bag or a sandwich bag with a corner cut off to easily add the sour cream.
If you have leftover ground beef – make more taco bites!
