Turkey Bolognese Recipe

A lighter take on the classic, this Turkey Bolognese Recipe is packed with vegetables & flavor, the sauce tastes like it cooked all day!

INGREDIENTS

Peel & dice the onion, carrots & celery.

Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven & add the onion, carrots & celery.

Cook until the vegetables soften, then add the garlic. Then season with salt & pepper & Italian Seasoning.

Add the ground turkey cook stirring until it begins to brown. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste & half & half.

Bring to a boil, then lower the heat & simmer for 20 min. Test for seasoning & add more salt/pepper.

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil & add salt. Cook your choice of pasta. Drain the pasta save a little of the water.

Add the pasta to the Turkey Bolognese & toss to combine. If too dry, add a little of the reserved pasta water.
