These Big Mac Sliders are juicy, cheesy, and dangerously easy to eat. You get all the classic fast-food flavors - seasoned beef, melty American cheese, crisp lettuce, pickles, and that iconic sauce - baked onto soft Hawaiian rolls. They’re fast, familiar, and always the first thing gone, whether it’s dinner or a party spread.
Get prepped: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice 12 Hawaiian slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves into a baking dish.
Cook the beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add1 1/2 pounds ground beef season with Salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain the grease really well - this keeps the buns from getting soggy.
Make the sauce: In a small bowl, stir together 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup dill pickle relish, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon ketchup, and g1 teaspoon garlic powder until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust if needed.
Assemble the sliders: Spread the cooked beef evenly over the bottom buns. Lay 8 slices American cheese over the beef, covering it as evenly as possible.
Bake: Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for about 5 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
Finish them: Remove from the oven and spoon a generous layer of sauce over the melted cheese. Add shredded iceberg lettuce and 12 pickle slices, then place the top buns on.
Toast the tops: Brush the buns lightly with 1 tablespoon butter (melted) and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Broil for about 1 minute, until the tops are lightly golden. Keep an eye on them - broilers do not mess around.
Slice into sliders and serve warm.
Notes
Drain the beef thoroughly to avoid soggy buns.
Make the sauce ahead of time for better flavor.
Toast the buns lightly if you want extra structure.
Keep the lettuce and pickles off until the end so they stay crisp.
Serve extra sauce on the side - someone will ask.
