Turkey Club Wraps with Bacon

This post may contain affiliate links which wonโ€™t change your price but will share some commission.ย Full Disclosure Policy.

I first started making Turkey Club Wraps on hectic Saturday mornings when the kids were begging for park time and “hangry” meltdowns were looming. Five minutes later, wraps were packed, a picnic blanket was tossed in the car, coffee in hand…. and we were out the door. Spoiler alert: they’ve saved more than a few weeknight dinners, too.

The beauty here is flexibility. Swap the meat, cheese, add extra veggies, drizzle with spicy ranch – whatever your taste buds and screaming for. They travel like champs, taste amazing cold, and disappear in record time.

Bring along some, chips, potato salad, coleslaw or pasta salad on the side!

Why you’ll love this recipe

I’m a huge fan of quick lunches that actually fill you up. After one too many sad desk salads and lackluster sandwiches, I recreated my favorite deli turkey club sandwich as a grab-and-go wrap. Ranch stands in for mayonnaise, bacon adds crunch, and cheddar brings the cheesy vibe. Keep the ingredient list handy – once you make these, you’ll want them on repeat all summer.

  • Ridiculously fast. Five minutes from fridge raid to first bite.
  • Picnic perfect. Travels well and tastes great cold.
  • Adaptable. Swap meats, cheeses, even the dressing to suit your mood.
  • Make-ahead friendly. Assemble in the morning; lunch is done.

Key Recipe Ingredients

Remember: this is just an overview and the why of the ingredients I choose here. The full list of ingredients and amounts is found in the printable recipe card below

Ingredients for turkey club wraps on a wooden surface: tortillas, sliced turkey, chopped bacon, shredded cheddar, ranch dressing, romaine lettuce, and tomatoes.
  • Tortillas. Large burrito style tortillas keeps all the fillings tucked in – spinach or tomato wraps work, too.
  • Smoked turkey. Deli-sliced for tenderness, but leftover roast turkey tastes great here.
  • Bacon. Cook until crisp, then crumble for even flavor – turkey bacon is a lighter swap. You can bake bacon in the oven for a hands off method!
  • Cheddar cheese. Sharp cheddar adds a nice bite – Colby Jack or pepper Jack are tasty alternatives.
  • Ranch dressing. Use a brand you love or homemade ranch; Greek yogurt ranch is a lighter option.
  • Tomato. Thin Roma or beefsteak slices roll neatly and keep moisture in check.
  • Romaine lettuce. Adds crunch and freshness – swap with baby spinach or iceberg if preferred.

Jump

Filling

STEP 1: Warm each tortilla in the microwave for 10 seconds.
STEP 2: Drizzle a little ranch over the surface, then cover the center of the wrap with turkey slices.
STEP 3: Layer, bacon, and cheddar over the turkey.
STEP 4: Add tomatoes and lettuce.

Rolling and cutting

STEP 5: Fold the sides in and roll the tortilla up tightly from the bottom.
STEP 6: Wrap the roll in plastic and chill for 15 minutes.
STEP 7: Slice in half for a handheld wrap or into 1-inch pinwheels for snacking.

Here’s a few pics of how to assemble these:

Variations

  • Chicken Club Wrap. Swap the smoked turkey for grilled or rotisserie chicken to change up the protein.
  • Turkey Avocado Club Wrap. Tuck a few avocado slices inside for extra creaminess and healthy fats.
  • Turkey Mustard Club Wrap. Trade the ranch for honey-mustard or Dijon dressing if you’re craving a tangy kick.
  • Veggie Boost Wrap. Load it up with extra crunch: shredded carrots, cucumber sticks, thin red onion slices, and bell pepper strips all work perfectly.

Kylee’s Notes

  • Warm tortillas for 10 seconds in the microwave to prevent cracking.
  • Make lettuce wraps! Use large lettuce leaves instead of tortillas/wraps.
  • Blot tomato slices on a paper towel – less moisture means a tighter wrap.
  • Roll tightly, tucking the sides as you go for a café-style wrap.
  • Chill wrapped rolls for 15 minutes before slicing pinwheels – cleaner cuts!

How to store leftovers

Refrigerator

Wrap each roll snugly in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours. The lettuce stays crisp and the flavors mingle nicely overnight.
