Apples and Cinnamon are the perfect flavorings for these Homemade Apple Cinnamon Waffles from scratch. Warmth, comfort and so much yum! The whole family will enjoy these!
On weekends, I typically do a cooked breakfast. Sometimes corned beef hash (if I have the ingredients), sometimes oven baked bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast… but most often it’s pancakes or waffles.
The smell of food coming from the kitchen (the coffee brewing will bring my husband) makes my kids get up out of bed and run to the table!
Weekday mornings are a little tougher – maybe I should get up earlier and make these to make it easier? (Just kidding, no time for that). That being said, these waffles are pretty quick to throw together and cook. 15 minutes max from beginning to serving, and they do make a nice change from cereal, right?
Apple waffles are my favorite, mainly because I just make the waffle batter and add it to the waffle iron, and let it cook. No flipping, no guesswork. While they cook, I can brew coffee, set the table and plan the day.
I’d say these are perfect for Fall, but the truth is – we eat these year round!

This is Georgia. Again. I know I have more maple syrup, but I can’t find it, so what other toppings could I use? Butter? Cinnamon may make it too dry. What about applesauce? This may be a bloody awful ideA, but im just throwin’ it out there. Hmm

Love this recipe! I didn’t grate the apples, I finely chopped them. I also used a green apple.

Delicious!!! I used almond milk and avocado oil instead of butter

These are AMAZING! I followed recipe exactly, including the suggested nutmeg, and I can’t believe how beautiful they taste. The grated apple was perfect. Will def make again and again. <3

Love this recipe! I mixed some cinnamon and sugar and sprinkled it on top with butter and maple syrup. The apples were juicy, so it took a little longer on my waffle maker to cook out the steam, but they turned out great. Thank you!

I just did a Google search for buttermilk apple cinnamon waffles this morning, wanting to treat the kids on their Christmas vacation. This recipe didn’t call for buttermilk, but it’s easy, smells amazing, and makes super yummy waffles!! Thank you for this post!!

These were delicious! I couldn’t find the recipe I used to use and stumbled across this one. I added 1/2 cup of oats. And just cut the apples into small pieces. The egg whites I whipped and folded into the batter to keep it light and airy. Definitely my new go to waffle recipe!!

I made these YUMMY waffles tonight , yes I wanted breakfast for dinner . This recipe does not disappoint. I made only half the recipe and that was more than enough for me . I will definitely make these again , however I will use more butter and cinnamon next time . The slight crunch from the fresh apples … really added a nice touch to the waffle .

My kids love waffles!

These waffles look amazing! Apples and cinnamon are of course the perfect pairing, such a classic – which means my kids would love them! I will have to make these this weekend. I think I will serve them with some whip cream and a dash of cinnamon. Yum!!

Yum, yum yum. These sound delicious. This probably sounds crazy, but I actually do not own a waffle iron. I’ve been meaning to buy one, but just haven’t gotten around to it. And I love waffles! Weekdays are too hectic for cooking breakfast (I microwave egg whites at work…), but on the weekends, it totally varies for us. Sometimes bagels, but many time eggs. Occasionally I make pancakes, but only when I’m feeling less lazy. Or I have a recipe I want to post!
